Icon doesn’t cut corners. The Women’s Team Merc and Merc jacket are a prime example of this philosophy. Even though this is one of least expensive jackets in the Icon line–up, it performs as well as or better than most of its higher price competition. The Dynax nylon chassis and CE armor combine to form one tough chiquita. We could have gone with a cheaper nylon or flimsy padding like some of our competitors, but in the end it just isn’t worth it. Our jackets are designed to protect you, regardless of the retail price.
